Little Leaf Farms is hiring a full-time Buyer in Manchester, Coffee County. This on-site role oversees procurement across growing operations, packaging, and facility management—reporting directly to the VP Supply Chain and driving supply optimization, quality assurance, and cost efficiency across the organization.

About the Role

As Buyer at Little Leaf Farms, you'll manage end-to-end procurement for a dynamic agricultural operation. This position combines tactical vendor management with strategic cost reduction, positioned to influence enterprise-wide supply chain practices. You'll own material sourcing and purchase order workflows while maintaining the quality and reliability our operations demand.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers across growing, packaging, and facility categories
• Develop and update pricing lists and cost analyses to identify savings opportunities
• Generate, monitor, and reconcile purchase orders for all packaging materials and operational supplies
• Track inventory needs and supplier performance to ensure consistent, on-time delivery
• Collaborate with operations teams to forecast material demand and prevent supply disruptions
• Evaluate new suppliers and negotiate terms that balance cost, quality, and sustainability
• Report on spend analysis and supply chain metrics to senior leadership

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles—ideally in agriculture, food production, or manufacturing
• Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
• Proficiency with purchase order systems and inventory tracking tools
• Detail-oriented approach to data entry, reconciliation, and documentation
• Ability to balance competing priorities: cost control, quality standards, and operational continuity
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred
