ICF is hiring a remote Project Specialist – AI/AN Victim Services Programs to help Tribal and Native communities strengthen the services they provide to crime victims across the country.
About the Role
As a Project Specialist at ICF, you will build and deliver culturally grounded capacity-building training and tailored technical assistance for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities throughout the Lower 48 and Alaska. Your work directly supports these communities as they create, grow, and run effective crime victim service programs. This full-time position is based in the Village of Los Ranchos, Bernalillo County, and is performed remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead high-quality training that reflects the cultural context and priorities of AI/AN communities.
- Provide customized, hands-on assistance to programs that are expanding or launching victim services.
- Support communities in the Lower 48 and Alaska as they design and put crime victim service programs into practice.
- Collaborate with community partners to ensure training content is practical, relevant, and respectful of local needs.
- Help guide program development from early planning through implementation.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering capacity-building or training programs.
- Familiarity with crime victim services and the communities they serve.
- Understanding of and sensitivity to American Indian and Alaska Native cultures and community contexts.
- Strong skills in providing tailored technical assistance to diverse organizations.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with partners across the Lower 48 and Alaska.
