Role Overview
In this temporary role, you'll architect and maintain Oracle CPQ solutions that empower sales teams to generate accurate, compliant quotes at scale. Working remotely from Rochester or anywhere with reliable connectivity, you'll bridge business requirements and technical execution, ensuring the CPQ platform drives efficiency across the entire sales pipeline while integrating seamlessly with downstream systems.
What You'll Do
- Configure CPQ rules engines, dynamic pricing logic, and guided selling workflows aligned with business strategy
- Develop and deploy custom integrations connecting Oracle CPQ to Salesforce, ERP platforms, and billing systems
- Build and troubleshoot complex quote configurations, including advanced pricing matrices and approval workflows
- Optimize system performance, reduce quote generation time, and eliminate configuration bottlenecks
- Partner with sales operations, finance, and IT to translate business problems into CPQ solutions
- Create technical documentation, runbooks, and training materials for ongoing operational support
Requirements
- Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Oracle CPQ in live production environments
- Deep expertise in CPQ configuration: rules engines, pricing models, quote workflows, and product hierarchies
- Proven track record integrating CPQ with Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, or comparable platforms
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or comparable programming languages for custom development
- Understanding of quote-to-cash processes and enterprise sales operations
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
