Sanitation Manager

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Sanitation Manager to oversee our cleaning and sanitation program at our Omak plant. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining a clean, sanitary production environment that supports the manufacture of quality products. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic planning, giving you the chance to build a high-performing sanitation team while ensuring our facility meets the highest standards for cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the sanitation team to achieve cleaning and sanitization objectives
• Develop and implement sanitation protocols and procedures that comply with food safety regulations
• Ensure the team has access to the tools, equipment, and materials needed to perform cleaning and pest control processes effectively
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of the facility to verify sanitation standards are met
• Train and mentor sanitation staff on best practices, safety procedures, and company standards
• Monitor inventory and manage the budget for sanitation supplies and equipment
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to schedule cleaning activities and minimize downtime
• Document sanitation activities, incidents, and corrective actions for compliance purposes

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing sanitation teams or leading cleaning operations in a manufacturing or food production environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation best practices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to work with production schedules and adapt to shift-based operations
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement process improvements
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in food safety or sanitation are a plus
