Salesforce Solution Consultant (Business Analyst)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential professional services organization seeking a Salesforce Solution Consultant (Business Analyst) to join their cloud consulting practice. This role bridges strategy and implementation, working at the intersection of business requirements and technical delivery to drive successful Salesforce outcomes for enterprise clients.

The position is based in the United States and requires up to 25% travel. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required for this engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery sessions and requirements-gathering workshops to identify business challenges and solution needs
• Design and configure Salesforce solutions following industry best practices and architectural frameworks
• Develop technical design documents, solution blueprints, and configuration specifications
• Collaborate with technical architects, QA teams, change management leads, and delivery managers throughout the project lifecycle
• Serve as the functional subject matter expert on Salesforce clouds such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, or Agentforce
• Support user acceptance testing planning, execution, defect triage, and resolution
• Contribute to go-live readiness including data migration validation, training support, and post-launch coverage
• Participate in knowledge-sharing and internal enablement initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in functional consulting, solution consulting, or business analysis within a professional services or delivery environment
• US Citizenship (contractually required)
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Hands-on Salesforce configuration experience
• Familiarity with the full engagement lifecycle from discovery through go-live
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder communication skills
• Ability to document solution designs through technical documents, process flows, and configuration guides
• Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed delivery teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, or cloud-specific credentials
• Industry experience in Public Sector, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Manufacturing
• Agentforce experience
