About This Role

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Zscaler Administrator based in India. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-level Zscaler products including ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX. You'll ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance access to internet and private applications while supporting zero trust networking principles across a global organization.

This position requires close collaboration with Networking, Security, Identity, and End-User Computing teams to implement policies, troubleshoot issues, and support business and security objectives in a dynamic, multi-cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational health of the Zscaler platform, identifying KPIs for monitoring, capacity planning, and ensuring efficient platform usage
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation in a globalized environment, including operating procedures for repetitive tasks
• Manage global access policies for URLs, cloud applications, SSL inspection, and threat protection (ZIA)
• Provide regular reporting to stakeholders on platform health, efficacy of settings, controls, protections, and alerts
• Analyze web traffic logs and alerts to identify emerging security risks and performance concerns
• Participate in a globalized ticket queue to track and resolve issues and change requests
• Support secure access to private applications with optimal performance (ZPA)
• Improve app segmentation to increase access clarity and facilitate efficient traffic forwarding
• Manage application connectors in Azure/AWS environments for ZPA troubleshooting
• Manage, maintain, and upgrade the global fleet of Zscaler Client Connector across all OS varieties
• Configure client posture settings, forwarding profiles, and tunnel configurations

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Four-year university degree or college diploma in Computer Science, or 1-3+ years equivalent work experience
• 1-3+ years of hands-on experience managing and configuring Zscaler products in a multi-cloud environment
• Excellent understanding of large, interconnected networks, DNS, and basic network troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of orchestration and automation using AWS CloudFormation, Azure ARM/BICEP, or Terraform
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java,.NET, or similar languages
• Knowledge of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and telecommunications principles
• Understanding of applicable data privacy practices and laws
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional documentation and technical writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• ZDNA and ZDTE certifications
• Experience with Zscaler API (legacy mode or ONE API)
• Zidentity experience
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and use of Visual Studio and GIT
