Sales Representative, Advanced Wound Care and NPWT devices- Western Cape

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential medical device organization seeking a Sales Representative for Advanced Wound Care and NPWT devices in the Western Cape region. This field-based role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while working with leading healthcare professionals across hospital environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage product sales and territory growth within the Western Cape region (Northern suburbs and Winelands)
• Implement advanced wound care solutions to achieve better patient outcomes in hospital settings
• Determine and execute strategies to secure stakeholder buy-in for best practices in wound care management
• Provide ongoing support to nurses and surgeons, including patient-focused training and in-theatre assistance
• Be available on-call and provide weekend support when required to ensure optimal patient care
• Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders throughout hospital systems
• Drive a company vehicle to customer sites across the assigned territory

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or tertiary qualification in Marketing, Medical field, BSc, Medical Technology, or related discipline
• 5+ years of sales experience within the medical sector
• Private medical sector experience strongly preferred
• Qualification or demonstrated expertise in Advanced Wound Care or Negative Pressure Wound Therapy highly desirable
• Very strong organizational and planning skills for territory management
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for company vehicle)
• Ability to understand customer needs with excellent training and presentation capabilities
• Effective English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities
• Self-motivated, solution-oriented, positive and energetic professional
• Must be legally authorized to work in South Africa without visa sponsorship
• Must be based in the Western Cape region

Bonus qualifications: Master's degree in Sales and Marketing

Travel: Occasional travel to Gauteng may be required; weekend availability necessary
