Sales Operations Associate II

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clinical research organization seeking a Sales Operations Associate II to join their European team. This role can be performed fully remotely from Serbia, as well as the UK, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, or Romania.

Our client is expanding their business development capabilities and needs a detail-oriented professional to support revenue growth and client acquisition activities. You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless information flow and data accuracy across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage new business development enquiries and coordinate with marketing teams to leverage outreach initiatives
• Partner with sales development to triage and nurture inbound leads appropriately
• Support sales territory coordination and assist in developing territory plans to achieve customer acquisition and revenue targets
• Provide on-the-ground support for the business development team including RFI completion and CDA coordination
• Maintain and manage all activity tracking in Salesforce, including accounts, opportunities, contacts, and lead records
• Identify and implement new process initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Coordinate meeting and event planning, including travel arrangements for trade shows and industry events
• Attend trade shows and events as needed
• Deliver weekly reports on business development activities and metrics to executive leadership

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of related experience, OR 8+ years of experience in a business development role within a CRO setting
• High proficiency in Salesforce application and reporting functionality

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional presentations via calls and email
• Drive to succeed and consistently meet or exceed targets and quotas
• Adaptability, professionalism, and motivation with a solid understanding of the sales cycle
• Active listening skills to identify customer pain points and challenges
• Ability to work under pressure, stay organized, multi-task, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships
• Working knowledge of business development processes and CRM systems
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Focus on continuous improvement and process optimization
• Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
