About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization in their search for an experienced SAP Migration Specialist. This is a 100% remote, full-time position open to candidates across the United States. Our client is seeking a professional who can design, execute, and support large-scale data migration initiatives within SAP S/4HANA environments.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee the full data migration lifecycle, including:
- Designing and executing enterprise data migration strategies from legacy systems into SAP
- Managing data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover processes
- Working hands-on with SAP LTMC, SLT, LVM, and S/4HANA migration tools
- Ensuring accurate, complete, and compliant migration of master and transactional data
- Performing data validation and reconciliation to maintain data integrity
- Partnering with functional teams, business owners, and infrastructure stakeholders throughout all migration phases
- Troubleshooting migration issues and maintaining comprehensive documentation
- Supporting major SAP implementations across enterprise landscapes
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 6+ years of SAP data migration experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP LTMC and S/4HANA migration tools
- Experience with SAP SLT replication scenarios
- Working knowledge of SAP LVM for system refresh and landscape management
- Deep understanding of SAP master and transactional data structures
- Proven experience performing data validation and reconciliation processes
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience working in enterprise SAP landscapes during major implementations
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation capabilities
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield implementations
- Exposure to SAP Data Services or other ETL platforms
- Experience with high-volume, multi-source data migrations
- Working knowledge of SAP HANA database structures
- SAP S/4HANA certification
