Workday Certified Financials/Studio Integration Consultant

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential professional services organization seeking a Workday Certified Financials/Studio Integration Consultant to join their enterprise cloud practice. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex integration projects across multiple client environments throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

As a Workday Financials Integrations Consultant, you will:

• Lead the design of point-to-point integrations and holistic interchange services ensuring effective data quality and reliable information exchanges
• Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating Workday cloud applications with external systems across Human Capital Management and Financial functional areas
• Lead the design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code including Studio, EIB, and supporting third-party coding
• Oversee integration delivery and manage the integration development process, which may require interaction with global resources across multiple geographic locations
• Lead discovery sessions with clients for each domain-specific integration
• Deliver requirements and design documents to developers while ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
• Engage with third-party vendors as required
• Collaborate with client counterparts to successfully deliver on shared objectives
• Identify and escalate risks in a timely manner and develop alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
• Lead the identification of process improvements and methodology changes based on project experience

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Workday Studio Certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Workday Financials implementations
• Minimum 2 years of experience with integration tools including Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Document Transformation
• Minimum 2 years of experience with REST/SOAP web services and API-based integrations
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience); Associate's Degree with minimum 6 years work experience also accepted

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Workday Financial data model including FDM, Subledger Accounting, and Customer/Supplier objects
• Ability to support end-to-end testing, defect triage, and resolution with minimal ramp-up time
• Strong communication skills for vendor and client-facing interaction
• Proactive and collaborative approach with effective leadership capabilities
• Creative problem-solving skills with flexibility to navigate uncertainty

Please note: Travel may be required for this role, varying from 0 to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements. Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship in the United States.
