Oracle Applications DBA (Managed Services)

We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking an experienced Oracle Applications DBA to join their Managed Services team. This is a 100% remote, full-time position supporting enterprise-level Oracle environments for multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for Oracle 12c and 19c database environments
• Manage and maintain Oracle EBS R12.1.3 and R12.2 applications infrastructure
• Perform implementation, upgrade, and tuning activities for large-scale Oracle EBS environments
• Execute patch assessment and application across EBS environments with module activation
• Conduct performance tuning including SQL query optimization
• Manage backup and recovery operations using RMAN
• Monitor and maintain systems using Enterprise Manager Grid Control
• Support Oracle RAC configurations and multi-tenant architectures
• Work across multiple operating systems including Linux, Unix, Solaris, and Windows
• Participate in rotational shift coverage including occasional evening and weekend work
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on multiple concurrent projects

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA with production support background
• 7-10 years as an Oracle Apps DBA specifically with Oracle EBS R12.1.3 and R12.2
• Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS architecture
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Manager Grid Control
• Proven expertise in backup and recovery concepts including RMAN
• Experience with Oracle R12 and Oracle RAC
• Demonstrated ability in performance tuning and SQL optimization
• Multi-OS experience: Linux, Unix, Solaris, and Windows
• MS in Computer Science or BS/BA in Computer Science with five years of relevant experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent documentation abilities
• Proven ability to provide accurate effort estimates and deliver on commitments
• Flexibility for general and rotational shift schedules
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Engineered Systems such as Oracle Database Appliance
• Oracle Data Guard experience
• Oracle RAC and Multitenant architecture expertise
• WebLogic and OEM 13c/12c knowledge
• R12.2 upgrade experience across multiple projects
• Familiarity with Oracle Identity Management product suite
