What This Role Involves

Core Duties

  • Oversee 10–15 concurrent customer integration projects, steering OEM partners through technical evaluation, integration planning, and real-world validation
  • Guide customers through RF performance analysis, antenna selection, link budget calculations, and wireless system optimization
  • Support deployments across unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), ground robots (UGVs), and maritime platforms through hands-on field testing and troubleshooting
  • Diagnose connectivity and networking issues, working directly with customer engineering teams to resolve performance challenges
  • Document integration outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices; share findings with internal product and engineering teams
  • Maintain detailed CRM records (such as HubSpot) tracking customer progress and opportunity milestones
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product colleagues on technical demonstrations, customer workshops, and validation events
  • Travel to customer sites and field testing locations to provide on-site technical support and accelerate deployment success

Who We're Looking For

  • 3–7+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Field Applications Engineer, or Systems Integration experience)
  • Solid technical foundation in RF propagation, antenna systems, and wireless communications technologies
  • Proven track record integrating radio systems into UAV, autonomous ground vehicle, or robotics platforms
  • Proficiency with TCP/IP networking protocols and system-level connectivity troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving ability when partnering with customer engineering teams
  • Willingness to work in field environments and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced deployment scenarios
  • Self-driven mindset and genuine passion for solving practical engineering problems
  • Preferred: experience with mesh networking, MANET systems, defence sector projects, or autonomy OEMs (industrial drones, ground robotics, marine systems)
