Sales Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization in their search for a Sales Engineer based remotely in Thailand. Our client is a leader in cloud security solutions, and this role reports to regional leadership within the Solutions Consulting organization. As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as a critical technical partner driving digital transformation for enterprise customers across emerging markets in Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical thought leadership and strategic advice to enterprise customers on digital transformation initiatives
• Take complete ownership of the technical sales cycle and all associated processes
• Identify and qualify technical opportunities while building trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders
• Deliver compelling sales pitches, technical demonstrations, and whiteboard presentations to ensure successful solution deployments
• Travel approximately 30% to the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam to support regional sales efforts

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience with AI-driven security solutions
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in presales roles, with at least 3 years specifically in selling security solutions and technologies
• Hands-on experience with systems installation and administration of routers and switches
• Deep technical knowledge of network security principles and applications
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and act with an ownership mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on high-impact outcomes
• Collaborative approach with ability to give and receive constructive feedback

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using AI-powered diagnostic tools or predictive analysis for complex proof-of-concept configurations
• Technical proficiency with GPO, Active Directory/LDAP, and SSO/SAML integrations
• Strong understanding of HTTP and web security technologies, including proxies, caches, and firewalls
