Safety Manager

This full-time direct hire position starts as soon as possible and offers a competitive salary of $90,000 to $115,000 annually, along with a generous discretionary bonus program and homeownership assistance of up to $20,000.

What This Role Involves

As a Safety Manager for Sheakley Workforce Staffing, you'll oversee compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols across Reno-area operations. You'll develop and implement comprehensive safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and ensure all team members work in secure environments. Starting immediately, you'll be instrumental in protecting our workforce while maintaining operational efficiency and supporting business growth.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Inspect job sites and facilities to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop, deliver, and document safety training and awareness programs for all staff
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures
• Maintain comprehensive safety records, reports, and regulatory documentation
• Coordinate with management to establish, enforce, and update safety policies
• Conduct safety audits and remain current with evolving OSHA requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in safety or related field preferred
• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in workplace safety management or compliance
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and current safety standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication and training skills
• Proven ability to analyze data and document findings clearly and professionally
• Valid driver's license required for site visits and inspections
