Fundraising Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Alzheimer's Association is seeking a full-time Fundraising Manager in Wichita, Sedgwick County to lead Walk to End Alzheimer's—the world's largest fundraiser dedicated to Alzheimer's care, support, and research. As part of a strategic leadership team, you'll drive execution of this signature peer-to-peer fundraising event across the region.

Role Overview

You'll manage the implementation and growth of Walk to End Alzheimer's within your market, overseeing all aspects of one of America's fastest-growing fundraising events. This role positions you as a key leader in expanding awareness, volunteer engagement, and fundraising success for the nation's second-largest peer-to-peer event. You'll combine strategic planning with hands-on execution to deliver measurable results and advance the Alzheimer's Association's mission in Wichita and surrounding areas of Sedgwick County.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute annual Walk event strategy to meet fundraising and participation goals
• Recruit, train, and motivate volunteers and team captains to lead fundraising efforts
• Build relationships with corporate sponsors, major donors, and community partners
• Coordinate logistics, promotion, and day-of event management
• Manage participant communication and donor recognition programs
• Track metrics, report progress, and optimize campaign performance
• Represent the Alzheimer's Association at community events and outreach initiatives
