About the Role
As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential homes. You'll work directly with homeowners, explaining maintenance needs and providing professional service that builds trust and loyalty. Earning between $30–$42 per hour, you'll be part of a growing team that prioritizes quality work and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot heating and cooling systems efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system tune-ups
- Replace components, refrigerant, filters, and other HVAC equipment as needed
- Document all work completed and communicate clearly with customers about repairs and recommendations
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to EPA and local regulations
- Travel to multiple residential job sites throughout your service area
What We're Looking For
- Valid HVAC certification or licensing required; EPA Section 608 certification preferred
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician in residential settings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to customer homes
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Physical ability to lift equipment, work in various weather conditions, and perform hands-on labor
