Research Lead

Informa Group Plc. is looking for a Research Lead to join our team in a full-time, remote position based in Milton, England. In this role, you'll direct research initiatives, develop strategic insights, and establish thought leadership across our organisation while working flexibly from wherever you are.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee research projects from conception through delivery and publication
• Lead research teams or collaborate across departments to gather, analyse, and interpret data
• Develop research methodologies and frameworks aligned with strategic business priorities
• Synthesise findings into clear reports, presentations, and thought leadership content
• Identify emerging trends and market signals; communicate implications to senior stakeholders
• Ensure research quality and intellectual rigor across all deliverables
• Build and nurture relationships with internal and external research partners

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven track record leading research initiatives or complex analytical projects
• Strong expertise in research design, data analysis, and evidence evaluation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to distil insights for diverse audiences
• Demonstrated leadership capability and experience managing or mentoring researchers
• Strategic thinking; comfort translating research into business recommendations
• Curiosity and intellectual agility; ability to learn new domains and market sectors quickly
• Relevant degree in research, market analysis, strategy, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
