About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Remote Dietitian to join their clinical nutrition team. This is a flexible, remote position offering 20-40 hours per week, ideal for registered dietitians who want to make a meaningful impact on patient care while maintaining work-life balance.

Our client values evidence-based practice, collaborative care, and professional development. You'll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting, working remotely to support patients across the Shreveport, LA area.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Provide nutrition and lifestyle education to patients, families, staff, and community members to support sustainable wellness
• Apply current research and evidence-based practices in alignment with diet manuals, policies, and facility protocols
• Contribute to Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaborate with food service management teams to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Support the professional development of staff and dietetic interns through mentorship, education, and training as applicable

What We're Looking For

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Louisiana state licensure preferred (or willing to obtain)
• Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication with the clinical team
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered care approach
