Registered Nurse (RN) – CVU Stepdown

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our stepdown cardiovascular unit in Boxborough, Middlesex County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality direct clinical care in a dynamic acute care setting.

About the Role

As an RN in our Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit, you will deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients each shift, from initial clinical assessment through ongoing treatment planning and execution. You'll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure each patient receives coordinated, evidence-based care. This role includes responsibility for delegating appropriate tasks to nursing staff and maintaining accountability for the quality and safety of all patient care delivered on your unit.

What You'll Do

• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses
• Educate patients and families about their conditions and discharge planning
• Document clinical observations and interventions in the electronic health record
• Supervise delegated nursing staff and support their professional development
• Communicate with physicians, specialists, and the care team to ensure continuity
• Maintain safe, clean patient environments and infection control standards

What We're Looking For

• Valid RN licensure in Massachusetts
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
• Experience in acute care nursing or stepdown units is valued
