About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Marion Center, you are the clinical leader for your assigned patients, responsible for comprehensive nursing assessment, care planning, and direct patient care delivery. You'll apply the nursing process to address patient needs holistically, maintaining the highest standards of professional accountability while ensuring every patient receives individualized, dignified care.

What You'll Do

• Assess patients using evidence-based nursing practices and develop individualized care plans
• Provide direct patient care aligned with physician orders and established clinical protocols
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust interventions based on patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other departments to coordinate comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information
• Uphold patient rights and advocate for patient safety and dignity throughout their care
• Evaluate care quality provided by other team members and contribute to continuous improvement
• Participate in staff development and mentor newer clinical team members when appropriate

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where you'll practice
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
