Recreation Site Supervisor (PTNB)

Sandy is looking for a dedicated Recreation Site Supervisor (PTNB) to join the team in Parks & Recreation on a full-time basis and help deliver high-quality community leisure experiences.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at assigned recreation sites within Parks & Recreation to maintain smooth activity flow and facility readiness
• Direct on-site staff and volunteers so recreation programs run on schedule and meet community expectations
• Monitor participant safety and enforce site guidelines during use of fields, trails, courts, and gathering areas
• Handle scheduling of space, equipment setup, and routine site checks to support active recreation calendars
• Engage with visitors to answer questions, resolve concerns, and encourage positive program participation
• Track basic attendance and supply levels and report findings to support Parks & Recreation planning
• Address minor maintenance or weather-related issues promptly so Recreation Site Supervisor (PTNB) standards stay consistent

Qualifications

• Solid background coordinating recreation activities or supervising public facilities in a Parks & Recreation setting
• Clear communication skills for directing teams and interacting with diverse community members
• Ability to manage multiple site priorities simultaneously while remaining organized and calm
• Knowledge of common recreation safety practices and comfort enforcing rules fairly
• Physical capability for outdoor site work, walking grounds, and light equipment handling
• Reliable decision-making that supports positive experiences for participants at Sandy recreation locations
