Responsibilities

• Define, document, and refine supplier quality plans, acceptance criteria, and performance scorecards that align with project needs
• Plan and lead on-site or remote supplier audits, capability assessments, and process validations
• Investigate non-conformances using structured root-cause methods and ensure robust corrective and preventive actions close on time
• Facilitate first-article inspections, production part approval, and process capability studies as new parts move to volume
• Track key quality metrics such as PPM, on-time recovery, and audit findings, then present trends and recommended actions to cross-functional stakeholders
• Partner with buyers and design teams to resolve material risks early and embed lessons learned into future source selection
• Coach junior quality staff and supplier personnel on practical quality tools and continuous-improvement techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a closely related technical discipline
• Progressive experience in supplier quality engineering or equivalent quality leadership roles, preferably at senior level
• Demonstrated skill applying core quality frameworks, statistical process control, and problem-solving methodologies
• Comfort conducting audits, interpreting standards, and negotiating practical improvements with external partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and cross-team collaboration
• Ability to travel occasionally within regional supply bases as business needs required
• Familiarity with digital quality management platforms and Microsoft Office tools for data analysis and reporting
