About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential fintech client building the future of private markets infrastructure. This evergreen talent pool role helps us identify exceptional Quantitative Analysts for upcoming positions in London.
As a Quantitative Analyst in future openings, you'll serve as a critical bridge between research, product, and engineering teams. You'll help translate sophisticated financial models into production-ready platform capabilities, ensuring that complex analytics become reliable, scalable tools for investment professionals.
Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between research, product, and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Integrate advanced financial modeling capabilities into platform infrastructure
- Translate complex financial models into actionable technical requirements for development teams
- Own product development from initial requirements through roadmap planning, milestone delivery, and production launch
- Collaborate with analytics and management to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
- Prepare comprehensive reports documenting findings in a professional, concise manner
- Apply critical thinking to interpret data and communicate implications clearly to stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Minimum MSc (PhD preferred) in a data-intensive science: Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related discipline
- Strong research-to-product mindset with experience building tools and models for investment applications
- Proven ability to solve problems with sparse or unreliable data
- Exposure to financial modeling through professional work, academic study, or personal projects
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques with creative problem-solving ability
- Technical proficiency: strong Python, good Bash/command line, basic JavaScript, fluency in Excel and DuckDB, Git version control
- Excellent critical thinking and ability to draw actionable insights from data
- Strong written communication skills with ability to document findings professionally
- Proven collaboration skills in cross-functional, remote, or distributed teams with tight deadlines
- Thrives in fast-moving startup environments—flexible, proactive, and self-directed
