Projektleiter Customer Projects (gn)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential automation and logistics technology organization seeking a Projektleiter Customer Projects based in Herford. In this role, you will take ownership of customer projects from initial offer through final handover, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery that meets client expectations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading customer projects from proposal phase through closeout
• Creating offer and contract timelines, estimating project management effort
• Reviewing proposal and contract documentation, clarifying open points and identifying risks
• Taking over projects after order receipt and developing internal and external schedules
• Coordinating internal resources, external service providers, and suppliers
• Ensuring material availability, technical alignment, and project progress
• Monitoring schedules, costs, risks, and payment flows
• Managing site execution and steering implementation through acceptance, invoicing, and project documentation
• Leading project meetings and conducting regular customer visits
• Active stakeholder and escalation management, reporting to leadership and executive management
• Conducting post-project calculations and lessons learned reviews

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in plant or mechanical engineering
• Excellent German and English skills in speaking and writing; Polish is a plus
• Strong communication skills, assertive yet diplomatic, with structured approach
• Forward-thinking, solution-oriented, and independent working style
• Resilient and reliable in demeanor
• Team-oriented and flexible when dealing with changing requirements

Pay
