Product Security Consultant

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization seeking a Product Security Consultant to join their post-sales consulting team. This role focuses on helping customers deploy and optimize security solutions across diverse technical environments.

As part of our talent team at Get A Job.ai, we're looking for experienced security professionals who can bridge the gap between technical implementation and business value delivery. You'll work directly with customers to configure security platforms, build automation workflows, and ensure successful program adoption.

Responsibilities

• Deploy security products across customer environments following industry best practices and documenting implementation decisions for both technical and business stakeholders
• Build and customize solutions using Python, SQL, and REST APIs, including reporting workflows, custom dashboards, and data pipeline integrations
• Partner with sales teams to scope consulting engagements and provide technical guidance during pre-sales activities
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and process improvements by contributing to delivery frameworks, tooling, and operational documentation
• Resolve technical deployment challenges efficiently while balancing diverse stakeholder needs and maintaining project momentum
• Travel occasionally for customer engagements as required

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM, vulnerability management, identity and access management, GRC, or endpoint protection platforms
• Strong Python development skills, including building documented, maintainable scripts that interact with REST APIs, relational databases (Postgres), and data pipelines
• Proficiency writing and optimizing SQL queries, including complex JOINs and subqueries
• Solid understanding of network protocols including DHCP, IP, DNS, and HTTP/S
• Experience deploying and managing workloads across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including configuration and policy management
• Administrator-level experience with Windows Server or Linux platforms
• Ability to communicate complex technical decisions clearly to diverse audiences, conveying objectives and rationale effectively
• Track record of taking ownership for implementation outcomes and meeting commitments to deliver customer and business value
• Comfort navigating change and ambiguity across customer environments with a forward-looking approach to solving operational challenges
• Bonus: familiarity with vulnerability management data models, ticketing systems, CI/CD pipelines, password vaults, or prior consulting experience
