Product Owner (m/w/d)

We are representing a well-established SaaS company in Munich that is seeking a Product Owner to join their growing team. Our client serves thousands of customers with workforce management solutions and operates with the agility of a startup backed by strong financial stability. Responsibilities

After a comprehensive onboarding period, you will become a key driver of the product vision:

• Understand customer needs and challenges deeply, relentlessly pursuing the best possible solutions for them
• Collaborate closely with the development team to transform product ideas into reality, from requirements gathering through implementation support
• Take ownership of delivered product value by creating user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritizing backlog items, and ensuring the team focuses on high-impact work
• Use data-driven decision making to organize product implementation, serving as the bridge between product and development teams
• Stay current on bug tickets and issues faced by customers and stakeholders
• Work with the current Product Owner and internal stakeholders to understand and contribute to the product roadmap
• Own the release process for mobile applications

What We're Looking For

• Completed technical degree or equivalent qualification
• Strong understanding of software development processes
• 3-4 years of experience in project management or product organization roles
• Experience working in the DACH market
• Proven experience with software or SaaS products
• Previous experience working in a small or mid-sized business environment
• Endless curiosity about technology and user needs, with a drive for continuous improvement
• Familiarity with agile values and both Kanban and Scrum methodologies
• Experience writing user stories and breaking down epics into actionable slices
• Quick analytical thinking with a data-driven mindset
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with fluent English; German language skills are a significant plus
