About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential travel technology client in their search for a Finance Analyst. This role sits at the intersection of commercial finance and treasury operations, offering exposure to strategic financial planning, cash management, and risk analysis. You'll work within a dynamic Finance team that supports the broader business through robust forecasting, liquidity management, and process innovation.
Reporting to senior treasury leadership, you'll partner across Commercial Finance, FP&A, Reporting, and Finance Operations teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to broaden their skillset across both commercial and treasury functions while driving automation and efficiency improvements.
Responsibilities
- Own key components of annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, building robust financial models using Anaplan
- Manage daily cash operations, including liquidity monitoring and investment activities to maximise returns
- Drive the end-to-end 13-week cash flow forecasting process, gathering inputs, analysing variances, and refining assumptions
- Actively manage financial risk exposure including FX, counterparty, and interest rate risks
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver strategic insights and data-driven recommendations
- Identify manual processes and champion automation projects to streamline workflows and improve data integrity
- Serve as a bridge between treasury and wider finance teams, ensuring seamless communication on cross-functional projects
- Train shared service centre teams to take on operational responsibilities
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Accountant with minimum 2+ years post-qualification experience
- Background in commercial finance with interest in treasury exposure, or treasury background with interest in commercial finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven experience using AI tools to accelerate delivery and improve efficiency
- Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Organised, task-focused approach with willingness to go the extra mile
- Based in or able to commute to London
