About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential IT consulting organization in Potsdam seeking an IT Systems Administrator specializing in enterprise infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex IT projects where your expertise will make a real impact, both strategically and technically. You'll administer established enterprise IT environments while developing your skills toward consulting and advisory work.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise IT environments, ensuring stable and efficient operations alongside our client's team
• Work with server environments, directory services, network infrastructure, and related infrastructure services
• Manage client and endpoint environments, supporting configuration management while maintaining security and functionality
• Proactively contribute to the optimization of established IT infrastructures
• Develop expertise in consulting and advisory services as your role evolves

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or comparable vocational training
• Self-motivated and solution-oriented working style with strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent German language skills (written and spoken) - this is essential for the role
• Experience with Linux-based server environments and understanding of directory services and permission structures
• Experience in client and endpoint management
• Familiarity with mail and collaboration services is ideal
• Knowledge of OES, ZENworks Configuration Management, GroupWise, and eDirectory is advantageous
• Team-oriented mindset with empathy and commitment to collaborative work culture
