Product Manager – EXOtube

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential aerospace organization seeking a Product Manager to oversee rideshare integration systems for satellite deployment missions. In this role, you will manage the complete lifecycle of launch infrastructure projects from requirements definition through qualification and mission execution.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Managing requirements, design, qualification and launch planning for complex rideshare hardware projects
• Leading customer communication and ensuring smooth project progression from contract through deployment
• Developing concepts for ground support equipment and test hardware in coordination with suppliers
• Planning and participating in test and launch campaigns at international locations
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation including user manuals, sales materials, technical reports and procedures
• Collaborating with sales teams to address prospect questions regarding system capabilities, launch vehicle compatibility and integration options
• Writing technical proposals for hardware development and constellation launch contracts
• Representing the organization at space conferences and industry events at a professional level
• Gathering customer requirements and working with engineering teams to iterate on product offerings and identify new business opportunities

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a candidate with both strong technical expertise and customer-facing skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in structural, mechanical or space engineering or similar field
• 5+ years of engineering work experience
• Demonstrated experience in customer-facing work and sales activities
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong technical communication skills with ability to convey complex engineering concepts
• Proficiency working with CAD software such as SolidWorks
• Strong sense of design aesthetics to maintain consistent documentation and hardware presentation standards
• Positive attitude and proven ability to work effectively in highly integrated team environments
• Comfort working in fast-paced, demanding settings with evolving priorities
• Flexibility for travel at short notice, approximately 10-15% of work time
• Currently based in Berlin, Germany or willing to relocate
