Product Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential construction technology organization seeking a Product Manager to join their Berlin-based team. Our client is building the intelligence layer for one of Europe's largest industries, working with leading construction enterprises that manage over €30 billion in annual project volume.

This is a platform-focused product role where you'll define and execute the strategy for foundational capabilities that enable faster delivery and confident scaling. You'll work on the data domain model, project graphs, ontologies, workflow abstractions, and essential services including permissions, document versioning, lineage, and collaboration systems.

You'll collaborate directly with leadership, platform engineering, design, and Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure every platform investment accelerates future use cases and makes the system more extensible and powerful.

Responsibilities

• Contribute actively to roadmap creation, balancing immediate platform needs with long-term strategic investments
• Lead strategic initiatives to capture key decisions across the project lifecycle and evolve scalable data domain models
• Define success metrics, use production data to iterate on platform capabilities, and communicate releases organization-wide
• Make informed decisions on prioritization, scope, and sequencing while partnering with leadership on major architectural and product bets
• Discover opportunities with Forward Deployed Engineers and translate complex operational challenges into clear product requirements
• Build platform products including APIs and graph-based or ontology-based systems

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of product management experience building technical products such as AI, automation, developer tooling, or enterprise software
• Proven experience shipping data platform products, APIs, or graph- and ontology-based systems
• Strong understanding of how LLM-powered products behave in production and the challenges of building AI-native products
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, making informed decisions with incomplete information, and balancing short-term needs with long-term platform investments
• Passion for understanding users' day-to-day workflows and willingness to become a domain expert in the construction industry
• Fluent in German with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders

Bonus:

• Familiarity with knowledge graphs, ontologies, or workflow abstraction frameworks
• Founder experience or experience building products in an early-stage startup
• Experience in construction technology or AEC software
