Product Engineering Manager, Salesforce

We are representing a confidential AI and cloud solutions consultancy seeking a Product Engineering Manager, Salesforce based in India. Our client is at the forefront of AI-driven transformation, working extensively with advanced agent-based AI platforms and enterprise cloud technologies. As Product Engineering Manager, you'll provide technical leadership for product development teams building innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform. You'll oversee architecture, development, and deployment of tools and assets while managing technical resources in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of new and existing products and assets on the Salesforce platform, including strategic tools for implementation services
• Work with AI development tools and various Salesforce features including Lightning Web Components, Flow, Console, and Apex
• Lead hands-on solution design, proofs-of-concept, development, and testing in a hybrid engineering environment
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from ideation through deployment and ongoing success
• Drive strategic decisions for architecture, packaging, and DevOps considerations across the product portfolio
• Collaborate with product owners, engineering leads, and developers to evaluate market demand and align on scalable solutions
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to development teams
• Guide teams on effective use of AI-powered development tooling

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, with strong understanding of architectural concepts, capabilities, and constraints
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
• Proven experience as a people manager for technical resources
• Experience with integrations between Salesforce and other systems
• Experience with AI agent solutions on the Salesforce platform
• Strong analytical skills with ability to formulate problems and solutions in both business and technical terms
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Salesforce managed packages and AppExchange submission
• Experience with Service Cloud and Service Cloud Voice
• Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design
• Experience with digital channel or contact center applications
• Cloud platform development experience (AWS or similar)
