You will lead customer engagements with major engineering organizations, demonstrating how AI-driven simulation platforms can transform thermal management workflows—delivering faster design cycles, improved reliability, and optimized cooling strategies for next-generation electronics.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and scale a high-performing team of thermal engineers across Europe, including hiring, mentoring, and driving technical execution in the field
• Partner with sales teams to lead technical discussions, scope proof-of-concept evaluations, and deliver compelling demonstrations to prospective enterprise customers
• Guide customer engineering teams through simulation setup, complex test cases, and results interpretation to prove technical and business value
• Own customer enablement from onboarding through account expansion, providing training, advanced troubleshooting, and senior technical guidance
• Serve as a critical feedback channel between customers and internal product/engineering teams, translating field insights into actionable product improvements
• Represent our client at major industry conferences and semiconductor events through technical presentations and live platform demonstrations
• Maintain expertise in competitive technologies, industry trends, and market positioning to communicate platform differentiators effectively

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related technical field
• 15+ years of expert-level experience with commercial thermal simulation software (Flotherm, Ansys Icepak/Fluent, Simcenter STAR-CCM+, or equivalent)
• Deep familiarity with semiconductor electronics packaging, advanced packaging technologies (2.5D/3D IC), or foundry ecosystems
• Prior experience in dedicated customer-facing roles with proven ability to build trust and manage engineering client relationships
• Practical programming experience using Python or C++ to automate workflows or parse simulation data
• Proven track record of managerial or technical leadership experience, with ability to scale and mentor engineering teams
• Elite communication skills, able to distill complex physics and simulation results for both technical and business audiences
• Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous

Preferred:

• Familiarity with structural mechanical simulations (FEA/stress) and/or Signal/Power Integrity (SI/PI) workflows
• Direct experience commercializing technical software (EDA or CAE simulation tools) into semiconductor enterprises
• Background in technical pre-sales, application engineering (FAE), or strategic technical sales
• Ability to rapidly adopt and champion AI-assisted design or simulation workflows

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €120,000 – €130,000 annually
