About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech platform in their search for a Portfolio Partner based in the United Kingdom. Our client operates a two-sided marketplace connecting growth-stage companies with institutional capital. This is a senior client-facing role where you will own a book of fundraising clients, manage their capital raise process from onboarding through close, and leverage your existing investor relationships to create meaningful introductions.

This is a fully remote position with working hours that overlap US Eastern time zones. You will report directly to the founding team and hold the most strategic client seat in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a dedicated book of client companies throughout their entire capital raise lifecycle
• Lead weekly client calls to maintain momentum, provide strategic counsel, and track progress against milestones
• Prepare founders for investor meetings, debrief outcomes, and deliver candid feedback to strengthen future conversations
• Leverage your personal network of family offices, venture capitalists, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional allocators to facilitate targeted introductions
• Ensure raise readiness across your portfolio: refine narratives, review materials, and maintain data room quality
• Manage investor meeting coordination end-to-end, including preparation, execution, and follow-through
• Drive client retention through exceptional relationship management and measurable results
• Maintain strict confidentiality around financials, cap tables, terms, and counterparty identities

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in capital markets, private placements, brokerage, or investment management with direct involvement in private financings
• Active, credible relationships with family offices, institutional allocators, or high-net-worth investors—your calls get returned
• Proven track record personally managing companies or clients through financing processes, including navigating stalls and achieving closes
• Deep fluency in deal mechanics: term sheets, capital structures, diligence processes, and investor decision criteria
• Ability to deliver difficult feedback directly and early while maintaining composure under pressure
• Reflexive discretion and strong professional judgment around sensitive financial information
• Comfort working remotely with regular overlap into US Eastern business hours
