About This Position
US Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Clarksville North clinic. In this part-time role, you'll work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide direct patient care, implement treatment plans, and help patients progress toward their rehabilitation goals. Your expertise and dedication will be essential to our patients' success as they recover from injury and illness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in administering therapeutic exercises and treatments under their supervision
- Guide patients through prescribed mobility, stretching, and strengthening exercises
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy
- Educate patients on proper technique, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment
- Support clinical operations and contribute to a welcoming patient experience
What We're Looking For
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license or certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Completion of an accredited PTA education program
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and exercise principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physical therapists and clinic staff
- Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
