Procurement and Sourcing Specialist-Bilingual (Korean/ English)

Woongjin, Inc seeks a detail-oriented Procurement and Sourcing Specialist–Bilingual (Korean/English) to join our purchasing team at our Plano, TX location. This contract position offers the opportunity to support critical supply chain operations while leveraging your fluency in both Korean and English.

About the Role

As our Procurement and Sourcing Specialist, you will serve as a key bridge between our operations and supplier network, ensuring efficient acquisition of materials and services. Your bilingual proficiency will enable direct communication with Korean-speaking vendors and internal stakeholders, expanding our sourcing reach and streamlining cross-cultural partnerships.

What You'll Do

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers that meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations
• Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to secure favorable commercial conditions
• Build and maintain productive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Create and process purchase orders, tracking fulfillment from placement through delivery
• Communicate directly with Korean-speaking suppliers and partners to ensure clarity and alignment
• Collaborate with internal departments to identify needs and establish purchasing priorities
• Monitor inventory levels and procurement performance to optimize supply chain efficiency
• Compile sourcing reports and analysis for management review and decision-making

Qualifications

• Fluency in Korean and English with ability to conduct professional business communications in both languages
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain roles
• Demonstrated success negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience managing purchase orders and coordinating inventory operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with procurement systems
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or equivalent professional experience
