Day-to-day work occurs entirely on site in The Rocks, Sydney, allowing close collaboration with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury files involving CTP schemes, public liability incidents and medical negligence from first instruction to resolution
• Advise injured clients clearly on rights, prospects and next steps under Australian personal injury frameworks
• Prepare pleadings, evidentiary materials, affidavits and settlement documentation to high professional standards
• Conduct negotiated settlements, mediations and other alternative dispute resolution processes
• Instruct counsel and coordinate independent medical and liability experts as required
• Appear in courts and tribunals, including interlocutory applications and final hearings when needed
• Maintain accurate progressive records and keep clients fully informed throughout the life of each matter

Who We're Looking For

• Admitted Australian lawyers holding at least three years’ experience in personal injury litigation, ready to operate at mid to Senior Associate level
• Demonstrated practical command of CTP claims, public liability litigation and medical negligence work
• Proven capacity to run a solid caseload with sound judgment, organised file management and clear written expression
• Effective negotiation and advocacy skills together with the ability to build trust with clients under pressure
• Willingness to benefit from partner-level mentoring while exercising appropriate professional autonomy in The Rocks, Sydney
