Oracle Cloud PLM / PDH Delivery Architect

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization in their search for an Oracle Cloud PLM / PDH Delivery Architect based in Canada. Our client works with enterprise customers to implement cutting-edge cloud solutions and needs an experienced architect who can lead complex Oracle Cloud PLM implementations from requirements through go-live.

This is a senior leadership role where you'll guide implementation teams, design enterprise-wide solutions, and serve as the primary technical advisor to clients throughout their cloud transformation journey.

Responsibilities

• Lead mid to large-scale Oracle Cloud PLM implementation projects simultaneously, managing all phases from discovery through deployment
• Design comprehensive enterprise cloud solutions covering both technical architecture and functional requirements
• Facilitate requirements workshops, solution architecture sessions, and design discussions with client stakeholders
• Map complex enterprise requirements across multiple Oracle SaaS applications in the PLM suite
• Design PaaS extensions and integrations to extend Oracle SaaS capabilities, including custom applications that integrate with Oracle Cloud
• Lead fit-gap analysis, business process design, conference room pilots, functional configuration, and testing activities
• Mentor and guide Oracle Cloud PLM implementation teams, providing technical direction and best practice guidance
• Serve as primary client contact, managing stakeholder communication and setting strategic direction
• Analyze current systems and identify enhancement opportunities or modification needs
• Collaborate with third-party vendors on hardware, software, and service procurement
• Monitor solution performance post-implementation and recommend optimizations
• Present business cases quantifying the value of proposed solutions to executive stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• Minimum 10 years as an Oracle Functional consultant with 3+ years in PLM cloud solution design
• Expert-level experience as an Oracle Cloud Architect on implementation projects and upgrades
• At least five completed Oracle Cloud implementations in your career
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS), particularly Integration Cloud Service and Database Cloud Service
• Working knowledge of Web Services and Oracle Cloud Web Services (SOAP and REST)
• Expert consulting skills in gathering requirements, documenting business processes, leading fit-gap analysis, and managing CRPs
• Experience navigating cross-border and diverse team environments
• Understanding of product lifecycle management best practices and new product development/introduction processes

Additional Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field
• Ability to write functional specifications based on user requirements
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills
• Proven ability to independently manage client expectations at a senior level
• Professional services firm or strategic-level industry experience preferred
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Proficient in English written and verbal communication
• Executive presence with ability to interact effectively with C-level stakeholders
