Wabtec is hiring an Operador de Fundição I (Foundry Operator Level 1) for our manufacturing team in Monte Alto, SP, BR. Role Overview

As an Operador de Fundição I at Wabtec's Monte Alto facility, you'll operate and maintain foundry equipment while adhering to strict safety and production standards. You'll monitor production workflows, manage material preparation, and maintain detailed documentation of operations. This position requires mechanical aptitude, precision, and a proactive approach to quality and safety in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Core Duties

• Operate foundry machinery and equipment within established parameters
• Monitor production processes and verify compliance with quality specifications
• Prepare and coordinate materials for foundry operations
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance and perform operational checks
• Record production data and maintain accurate shift documentation
• Execute safety protocols consistently and wear all required protective equipment
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and department goals

Who We're Looking For

• Prior experience in foundry operations, metalworking, or manufacturing preferred
• Strong mechanical understanding and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment
• Physical fitness for foundry work, including standing for extended periods and heat exposure
• Demonstrated attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable work history with consistent attendance
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team setting
• Relevant technical certifications or foundry training is an asset
