Motion Designer / Video Editor — Apprenticeship (1 or 2 years)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise software client seeking a Motion Designer / Video Editor Apprentice to join their brand and creative team in Paris. In this role, you will work alongside our client's lead motion designer to produce animated content for product videos, demos, social media, digital advertising, internal communications, and marketing campaigns.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Producing animations, video edits, and visual effects for campaigns, events, and social channels
• Adapting existing formats across multiple platforms and aspect ratios
• Building storyboards and animatics, then taking them through to final render
• Collaborating with brand designers, content teams, and marketing colleagues to transform creative briefs into impactful video assets
• Maintaining visual consistency within the established brand identity

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking a student currently enrolled in a design, motion, or audiovisual program who is looking for a 1 or 2 year apprenticeship beginning October 2026. This is a 4-day-per-week position with 2-3 days in the Paris office preferred.

Essential requirements:

• Working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro—we don't expect mastery, but you should be able to build something and iteratively improve it
• Strong attention to detail including timing, typography on titles, and export settings
• Curiosity about graphic design, technology, and art beyond motion design specifically
• Proactive communication style—someone who asks clarifying questions when creative briefs have gaps
• Working proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Midjourney, Runway, or Higgsfield
• Sound design or music editing skills
• Experience creating content for a technology or B2B audience
• Familiarity with Figma

Through this apprenticeship, you will gain an understanding of how motion design works within a cohesive brand system, experience production workflows on high-stakes deliverables with real deadlines, practice giving and receiving creative feedback professionally, and receive direct mentoring from a senior motion designer.

Pay

Compensation will follow standard apprenticeship contract (alternance) terms in France and will be discussed during the screening process.
