Associate UX Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise AI platform company seeking an Associate UX Designer to join their product team in Paris. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a sophisticated data science platform alongside experienced designers, product managers, and developers. You'll contribute to creating intuitive solutions that balance ease of use with powerful technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, execution, and analysis of concept validation studies with supervision from senior team members
• Research user behaviors, expectations, and benchmark competitive solutions in the market
• Assist in preparing and delivering presentations of findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Translate design decisions and UX recommendations into wireframes and interactive prototypes
• Create and test user flows and low-fidelity prototypes to validate design concepts
• Collaborate with engineers to understand technical constraints and overcome design challenges
• Contribute to the maintenance of style guides and design language systems
• Research and stay current with trends in UX and design practices
• Learn to understand the constraints and needs of various industries including finance and healthcare

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Miro, or similar tools
• 0 to 2 years of relevant UX design experience
• Understanding of user-centered design approaches and tools including wireframes, journey maps, and user flows
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide rationale for design decisions
• Portfolio featuring student or professional examples of interaction design work

Preferred qualifications:

• Degree (BS or MS) in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience integrating user feedback into design practices
• Experience working collaboratively in a design team
• Experience with professional software development environments
• Curiosity for complex technical systems and data-driven products
