Join OPTIVEUM sp. z o.o. as a Mobile Ad Engineer Android in the United States. We're hiring a full-time engineer to architect and optimize advertising systems for our Android applications reaching millions of users globally.
About This Position
This is a hands-on engineering role dedicated to building, enhancing, and scaling the ad monetization infrastructure powering our mobile ecosystem. You'll own critical systems that balance revenue generation with seamless user experience, working across the full technology stack from SDK integration through performance optimization and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust mobile ad delivery infrastructure with advanced loading, caching, and request management mechanisms
- Integrate and maintain ad mediation platforms including AppLovin MAX, Google AdMob, and Unity LevelPlay
- Optimize key monetization metrics: fill rate, match rate, show rate, impression rate, and eCPM
- Develop intelligent ad selection and placement logic with remote-driven fallback systems
- Reduce crashes, ANRs, and latency through memory optimization, efficient threading, and SDK lifecycle management
- Build internal debugging, logging, telemetry, and A/B testing infrastructure for continuous improvement
- Partner with backend, product, analytics, and AI teams on server-driven monetization strategies
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
- Deep expertise in Android SDK, app lifecycle, and mobile performance optimization
- Demonstrated experience integrating ad mediation platforms such as AppLovin MAX, Google AdMob, Unity LevelPlay, or Google Ad Manager
- Experience optimizing ad loading performance and managing multithreaded systems
- Working knowledge of Firebase, Remote Config, Analytics, Crashlytics, and BigQuery
- Experience consuming and implementing REST APIs with backend-driven configurations
- Nice-to-have skills: Custom mediation adapters, real-time bidding systems, AI-based optimization, CI/CD practices, or server-driven monetization architecture
