Marketing Communications Intern

We're hiring a Marketing Communications Intern at Pixlr Group, located in Bandar Sunway, Selangor, Malaysia. This temporary position is ideal for an enthusiastic communicator ready to contribute to marketing campaigns that showcase innovative creative tools to a global audience.

Position Summary

As our Marketing Communications Intern, you'll support the creation, refinement, and distribution of compelling content that connects Pixlr's suite of design solutions with creative professionals worldwide. You'll work alongside our dedicated marketing team to craft messaging that resonates with designers, photographers, and content creators, whilst gaining practical experience in a dynamic, creative environment. This role offers genuine exposure to all facets of modern marketing communications, from strategy through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and editing of marketing collateral, including website copy, email campaigns, social media posts, and promotional materials
• Research industry trends, competitive landscape developments, and audience insights to inform campaign strategy and messaging
• Assist in managing content calendars and ensuring timely publication across multiple digital channels
• Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions for creative campaigns, brand messaging, and audience engagement initiatives
• Monitor social media platforms, engage with community members, and help respond to audience questions and feedback
• Support the preparation of campaign performance reports and analytics summaries

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
• Strong written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and grammar
• Practical familiarity with social media platforms and understanding of basic digital marketing principles
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and respond positively to constructive feedback
• Creative mindset with genuine interest in visual communication and content strategy
• Competent with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools
• Portfolio samples, writing examples, or evidence of previous marketing or creative work strongly preferred
