Internship – Graphic Designer / Digital Design

Pixlr Group is seeking a talented Graphic Designer / Digital Design Intern to join our creative team in Bandar Sunway, Selangor, Malaysia. This is a temporary internship opportunity ideal for emerging designers keen to build hands-on experience in a collaborative professional environment.

What This Role Involves

As a Graphic Designer / Digital Design Intern at Pixlr Group, you'll contribute to the creation of visual content and digital design assets across multiple projects and platforms. You'll work alongside our design team to develop concepts, refine designs, and bring creative ideas to life using industry-standard design software. This role offers direct exposure to real client work, design processes, and the fundamentals of professional creative development in a supportive, mentorship-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and layout of digital graphics, illustrations, and visual materials for web, social media, and marketing campaigns
• Support the design team by producing mockups, wireframes, and design concepts under guidance
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and share fresh creative ideas with the wider team
• Refine designs based on feedback and direction from senior designers and stakeholders
• Maintain visual consistency across brand guidelines and project specifications
• Collaborate with other departments to understand project requirements and deliver suitable design solutions
• Participate in learning and skill development opportunities throughout the internship

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools
• Strong foundational knowledge of design principles, colour theory, and typography
• Ability to work collaboratively and take constructive feedback professionally
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Portfolio demonstrating design work, creative process, or relevant academic projects
• Solid communication skills and reliability in meeting deadlines
