Sales Development Representative – Alternative Lending

Premium Merchant Funding is hiring a full-time Sales Development Representative specializing in alternative lending solutions. Based in Miami, Florida, this role is central to our growth—you'll prospect, qualify, and engage business owners actively seeking merchant funding and working capital alternatives.

Position Summary

As a Sales Development Representative for alternative lending, you'll be the first point of contact for business owners exploring merchant funding, revenue-based financing, and working capital solutions. You'll own the prospecting-to-qualification pipeline, using a blend of outreach methods to identify qualified leads, understand their funding needs, and connect them with our sales team. This is a full-time position based in our Miami office, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced sales environments and wants hands-on experience in the alternative lending space.

Core Duties

• Prospect and identify qualified business owners and decision-makers seeking alternative funding solutions
• Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns via email, phone, and social channels
• Qualify leads based on funding need, timeline, and business profile
• Schedule discovery calls and meetings for the sales team
• Maintain accurate, consistent records in our CRM system
• Build relationships with prospects and navigate objections professionally
• Meet pipeline and activity targets while maintaining quality standards

What You Bring

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to make cold calls and engage prospects confidently
• CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Resilience and coachability in a sales environment
• Interest in or familiarity with alternative lending, merchant cash advances, or small business finance (a plus)
• Located in or willing to work on-site in Miami, Florida
