Credit Card Processing Specialist

Premium Merchant Funding is hiring a Credit Card Processing Specialist to join our team in Century City, California. This is a full-time position where you'll play a critical role in managing payment transactions and supporting our merchant partners' financial operations.

About This Position

We're seeking a detail-oriented Credit Card Processing Specialist to process, monitor, and reconcile merchant credit card transactions. You'll ensure accurate transaction handling, investigate discrepancies, and maintain compliance with payment industry standards. This role is central to keeping our merchant partners' payment operations running smoothly and securely in our Century City office.

Your Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile credit card transactions daily, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor transaction reports and payment flows to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Investigate chargebacks, disputes, and payment issues with merchants and financial institutions
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all processing activities
• Support merchant onboarding by setting up payment processing accounts and systems
• Respond to merchant inquiries regarding transactions, statements, and payment status
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and other relevant payment processing regulations
• Coordinate with banking partners and payment processors on transaction issues

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in credit card processing, payment operations, or merchant services
• Strong proficiency with payment processing software and banking systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to reconcile large volumes of transactions
• Knowledge of PCI compliance, chargeback processes, and payment industry standards
• Ability to communicate clearly with merchants, banks, and internal teams
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and basic data analysis
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or certification in payment processing preferred
