Market Fleet Manager – DACH

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential mobility company in their search for a Market Fleet Manager - DACH. This is a remote leadership role based in Germany, offering the opportunity to oversee fleet operations across multiple regions and drive strategic improvements in maintenance, repair efficiency, and cost management.

You'll join the operations leadership team and lead regional fleet managers responsible for over 4,000 vehicles across 40+ locations. This position is ideal for an experienced fleet professional who thrives in fast-paced, multi-site environments and wants to make a tangible impact on operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Own the maintenance, repair, and fleet transfer budget across the DACH market, ensuring cost-efficient and high-quality repairs
• Define repair strategies for individual vehicles based on damage reports and operational priorities
• Maintain strong vehicle availability by coordinating workshop capacity, scheduling, and spare parts flow
• Build and optimize both internal and external workshop networks to improve turnaround times and reduce costs
• Lead and develop station-based fleet teams including fleet managers, technicians, damage detection experts, and spare parts specialists
• Track KPIs such as repair cost, turnaround time, and damage detection accuracy
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fleet performance and operational efficiency
• Collaborate closely with regional operations managers and the business director

What We're Looking For

• Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a similar technical field
• 8+ years of experience in fleet management, maintenance/repair operations, or workshop management
• 5+ years of direct people management experience, preferably in technical and operational environments
• Strong analytical and budgeting skills with demonstrated focus on efficiency and quality outcomes
• Confident leadership abilities with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfort working in fast-paced, multi-site environments with willingness to travel to stations and external vendors within the DACH region
• Proficiency in maintenance or fleet management systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Working proficiency in both German and English is required
