Manager Product Data & BI (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential travel technology organization seeking a Manager of Product Data & Business Intelligence to join their Hamburg-based team. In this role, you will transform complex data structures into actionable business insights and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Measuring and analyzing customer data, lifetime value metrics, and satisfaction indicators
• Evaluating conversion, reactivation, and retention rates throughout the complete customer journey
• Analyzing all customer touchpoints across the lifecycle and deriving optimization opportunities
• Actively identifying and integrating AI potential into relevant processes (such as personalized recommendations, automated content generation, or churn prediction)
• Leading data-driven initiatives from concept through implementation and rollout
• Developing product data structures, BI landscape, and customer analytics capabilities
• Connecting data sources to create holistic data models that generate valuable business insights

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking someone who brings structure to complex data and creates genuine value from information:

• Confident handling of complex customer data and segmentation models with strong understanding of data structuring and utilization
• Excellent SQL skills and comfort working with relational databases such as MySQL and BigQuery
• Expertise in at least one major BI visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar) with ability to present data clearly and meaningfully
• Familiarity with common tracking and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Matomo, or equivalents)
• Strong analytical capabilities to quickly grasp, structure, and communicate complex relationships
• Hands-on mentality with preference for pragmatic, self-directed action over extensive documentation
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week)
• German language fluency required for this Hamburg-based position

Industry-specific knowledge is a plus but not essential—what matters most is your interest in the business model and your analytical approach.
