Werkstudent (m/w/d) E-Commerce

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential sports nutrition organization seeking a working student (Werkstudent) to support their E-Commerce team in Munich. Our client operates in the dynamic health and fitness sector, serving athletes and fitness enthusiasts across Central and Western Europe with innovative nutritional products.

As a working student in E-Commerce, you'll support the digital team in developing online shops, analyzing key e-commerce metrics, and optimizing the customer journey and CRM activities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital commerce while pursuing your studies.

Responsibilities

• Online Shop Management & Content: Support the maintenance and optimization of product, category, and landing pages, ensuring content, product data, and images remain current and complete in Shopify and other systems
• E-Commerce Analytics & Performance: Assist in creating reports, analyze key e-commerce metrics including revenue, traffic, and conversion rates, and monitor market, competitor, and industry trends
• Customer Journey & CRM: Contribute to optimizing the customer journey and user experience, support A/B testing, and work on newsletters, automated customer journeys, and CRM, loyalty, and retention initiatives
• Campaign Management & Marketing: Support the implementation of marketing campaigns, creation of landing pages and promotional pages, and sales-driving measures within the online shop
• Quality Assurance & Technology: Conduct website testing and quality controls, assist in analyzing technical errors, and learn modern e-commerce technologies and AI tools for content creation and process optimization

What We're Looking For

• Education: Currently enrolled student in E-Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, Business Informatics, or a comparable program
• Language Skills: Good German and English language proficiency
• E-Commerce & CRM Knowledge: Interest in digital business models and online retail; ideally some practical experience in e-commerce, online marketing, or CRM. Familiarity with Shopify, Brevo, Klaviyo, or similar systems is advantageous
• Analytics & Data Understanding: Strong numerical aptitude and understanding of key performance indicators; ideally some experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
• Digital Technologies & AI: Interest in digital trends, AI applications, and automation possibilities in the e-commerce environment
• Working Style: Structured, thorough, and independent work approach with initiative and enthusiasm for collaborating with diverse teams and external partners
