About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential engineering consultancy in Mechernich, Germany. Our client seeks a qualified HVAC specialist to join their established technical building services team. This full-time position offers the chance to work on diverse projects from concept through completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems (HLKS) across projects
• Manage projects from initial concept through handover, monitoring schedules and budgets
• Develop innovative technical concepts and create detailed planning documentation including specifications
• Prepare and review all necessary project documentation
• Coordinate closely with clients, specialist planners, and other project stakeholders
• Participate actively in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct regular site visits to supervise implementation of construction measures

What We're Looking For

• Qualification in building services engineering (HLKS) – engineer, technician, or master craftsperson
• Solid technical knowledge and strong interest in technical building systems
• Prior experience in heating, climate control, ventilation, and plumbing sectors
• Familiarity with tendering processes and award of engineering and construction services
• Proficiency with MS Office, CAD/BIM software, and tendering software (AVA)
• Team-oriented approach with ability to work independently and solution-focused
• German language proficiency required for client communication and documentation
