Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential AI technology organization in their search for a Manager of Applied AI Architects based in Munich, Germany. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the Munich office, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

You will lead a team of senior technical architects who partner with major enterprise customers across the DACH region, guiding them from initial AI exploration through production deployment and measurable business outcomes. Your team will serve as trusted technical advisors to C-suite executives and engineering leaders, designing secure, scalable solutions that deliver real-world value.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and manage a high-performing team of Applied AI Architects, fostering technical excellence, accountability, and customer stewardship
• Define the regional operating model and strategy for AI architecture delivery across Europe, aligning company priorities with strategic customer needs
• Partner with sales leadership to prioritize accounts, allocate technical resources, and establish technical strategies for complex enterprise engagements
• Ensure architects own end-to-end technical account plans, including adoption roadmaps, technical milestones, and expansion opportunities
• Lead sophisticated customer journeys connecting executive vision with use-case qualification, solution evaluation, governance frameworks, and production deployment
• Coach the team on modern AI architectures spanning models, applications, data integration, security, privacy, evaluation, and enterprise deployment
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders, CTOs, CIOs, and senior technology leaders as an executive technical sponsor
• Coordinate across deployment engineering, product, research, security, legal, and partner teams to deliver cohesive customer experiences
• Maintain rigorous portfolio health metrics including technical wins, production readiness, usage, risks, and measurable customer impact
• Translate field insights into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams while developing reusable architecture guidance

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture, technical account leadership, AI deployment, or technical consulting with large enterprises
• 4+ years of people management experience hiring, coaching, and developing customer-facing technical teams
• Deep technical expertise in AI systems, frontier models, agentic applications, cloud architecture, APIs, data integration, security, privacy, and enterprise deployment
• Proven track record guiding enterprises from technical discovery through production adoption and measurable business impact
• Outstanding executive communication skills with credibility across CTOs, CIOs, boards, and hands-on engineering teams
• Strong portfolio management capabilities with thoughtful resource allocation and the ability to balance regional strategy with hands-on customer support
• Excellent architectural judgment, knowing when to go deep, when to coach, when to involve specialists, and how to define clear ownership
• Experience building partnerships across sales, product, engineering, deployment, security, legal, and partner ecosystems
• Comfort leading across European markets and adapting approaches to different industries, cultures, and regulatory contexts
